It's Elmo's Rug!!

If you have children, or have been around children in the last 15 years or so, you are probably familiar with Elmo. Well, if you have had the opportunity to watch Sesame Street recently, you will know that the last 20 minutes or so have been transformed from regular Sesame Street fun to a segment called "Elmo's World". At first, I was annoyed about this, but Lukin seems to like it.

In fact, recently he was watching Sesame Street while I was taking a shower and the Elmo's World segment came on. At the end, Elmo sings about whatever the topic of the day was, and then he sings the theme song. Well, apparently, Lukin knows the song and can sing along. After it was over, he was trying to sing the song and it took me a few minutes to figure out what he was singing. Well, that and he changed the words. I am not sure the logic involved, but for whatever reason it is, he sings, "It's Elmo's Rug!!" But he sings it with such enthusiasm that I almost hate to correct him. It's pretty cute. Of course, I may be a bit biased.
